This coffee originates from the West Arsi site in Ethiopia, where it is grown and cultivated right outside of the town of Nensebo.

The site is run by Eyoel Girma, who was born and raised in Nensebo. His deep knowledge of coffee farming was shaped by his experience learning from his father, Ato Girma, who was a leader in the Coffee Farmers Cooperative of Nensebo.

This coffee is grown between 1900-2200 M.A.S.L. and harvested during the two month period of December and January. After harvesting, it is naturally dry processed for the next 28-32 days in traditional Ethiopian drying beds.

The result of extremely careful processing at the farm combined with the light approach of roasting yields a coffee which is bright, floral and aromatic. During cupping, we tasted sweet floral notes, white grape, and herbal tea.
