About our recurring billing provider

Finca El Alto is located in Santa Maria, Huila, Colombia and run by Hector Osorio and Adriana Aldana (husband and wife). The farm sits at a range of elevations from 1,950 m.a.s.l. to 2,150 m.a.s.l., and is a total of 15 hectares. Of those 15 hectares, 13 are planted with coffee with a total of approximately 45,000 trees: 15,000 Caturra, 15,000 Typica, 4,000 Yellow Bourbon, 4,000 Geisha, 5,000 Pink Bourbon and 2,000 Catimore.

This particular lot is made up of Caturra, Typica and a small amount of Yellow Bourbon. The coffee is fermented for 24 hours in cherry, de-pulped and then dry fermented for an additional 40 hours in the fermentation tank. Once the coffee is washed, it is taken to dry in greenhouse driers for anywhere from 12-20 days, depending on the climate. 

Notes of brown sugar, black cherry, and almond, with a smooth finish.
