This coffee originates from Huehuetenango, Guatemala and is farmed by the Villatoro family, who first founded Finca Los Guayabales in 1990. One of the most important growing regions in the country, Huehuetenango is home to vigorous microclimates with altitudes as high as 2,000 M.A.S.L. which produces exceptionally bright and distinctive coffees. The surrounding forests provide fresh water springs and support the processing of this washed coffee.
This coffee is a smooth and full bodied bourbon varietal with forward notes of dark sugars, cola and a clean citrus finish.
