In 2002, Carlos bought 2 hectares of land in Hoja Blanco, Huehuetenango with money he had saved up while working in the United States for seven years. He had always worked in coffee in the past so was very familiar with all of the things that go into owning your own farm. When he is not busy with coffee, Carlos runs a small tienda in town that many people in the area enjoy. In 2017 he started construction on another bodega to help store his coffee. 

In the cup, we taste notes of raisin, juicy plum, and toffee with a clean finish.
