Brazil · Santana · Natural
This one comes from Tulio Arantes Vieira’s farm, Sítio Santana, in the Mogiana region of Minas Gerais. Tulio started helping his dad on the farm at 12 and bought his first piece of land at 18. He runs two farms now, and he’s the type to test his soil and leaves before making a call on anything.
It’s a natural process. The cherries dry whole with the fruit still on, so the bean soaks up some of that sweetness along the way. That’s where the blackberry comes from.
Most Brazils are easy to drink and easy to forget. This one has enough going on to stay interesting cup after cup, and that’s why it’s in our lineup.
In the cup, chocolate leads. Almond keeps it smooth, and blackberry shows up on the finish.
The result is a medium roast that’s comfortable and familiar, with just enough fruit to keep you coming back.
The everyday coffee that doesn’t feel like one.
Great as drip. Works well as espresso.
TASTING NOTES: Bakers chocolate, almond, blackberry.
